When you have a lot of animals, issues often arise, as it's not always sunshine and rainbows!
Over the years, we've dealt with everything from fleas, Bobcat fever, to intense injuries/flesh wounds, bot flies, Meningeal worm, abscesses in hooves, and the list goes on. It's really good to have a good vet that you can rely on when the need arises.
We treat a lot of things ourselves at home and with herbs and essential oils, but sometimes you just need extra help.
This past week we had an emergency situation with our cat, and Dr. Morton really came through for us and saved him! Here is a list of the vets we personally use and the ones we have heard great things about from our friends!
Who we personally use:
- Lynchburg Animal Hospital / Dr. Morton is wonderful!
- Cascade Veterinary in Wartrace (they have 4 amazing vets; we love Dr. Sarah - and they treat bunny rabbits). They do both large and small animals.
- TennSouth /north Lewisburg / Dr. Jordan is who cares for our cows and mini-pony; large animal farm vet!
Vets who've come highly recommended by friends:
- RockNCountry in College Grove / Dr. Jennifer Hatcher (large and small animal vet)
- Hillsboro Animal Hospital / Nashville / Dr. Chad Given
- McKay’s Mill Animal Hospital / Franklin / Dr. Kimberley Merrell
